Welcome from ARCA
A New Chapter for ARCA
Welcome to the new ARCA website! After months of work, we're proud to launch a modern platform purpose-built for Arizona's amateur radio community. This isn't just a facelift — it's a ground-up rebuild designed to be the central hub for every ham in the state, whether you're a seasoned Extra or studying for your Technician.
The old site served us well for years, but amateur radio deserves a web presence that's as forward-looking as the hobby itself. Here's what you'll find.
Club Directory
Arizona is home to over 50 amateur radio clubs, and now you can explore all of them in one place. Search by name, filter by region, and browse club profiles with meeting schedules, repeater listings, net information, and officer contacts. You can even filter by interest — HF, EmComm, digital modes, satellites, contesting, and more.
If your club's information needs updating, reach out to us. We want every listing to be accurate and current.
Event Calendar
Never miss a hamfest, VE testing session, or contest again. The statewide event calendar brings together activities from clubs across Arizona with dates, locations, maps, and all the details you need. You can even export events directly to your phone calendar with one click.
If your club has an upcoming event, let us know and we'll get it listed.
Photo Gallery
See what clubs across Arizona are up to. Browse albums from club activities, hamfests, field days, and community events statewide. It's a great way to see the faces behind the callsigns.
Programs & Awards
ARCA runs several programs that support amateur radio across the state, and they now have a dedicated home on the site. You'll also find our Ham of the Year awards — a tradition going back to 1970 recognizing outstanding contributions to amateur radio in Arizona.
This Blog
You're reading it. Expect regular updates from ARCA leadership on upcoming initiatives, event recaps, and community news. Bookmark it or check back often.
What's Ahead
This launch is just the beginning. We're already planning new features, including tools for club officers to manage their own listings directly. Your feedback will shape what comes next — if something's missing or could work better, we want to hear about it.
Thank you to everyone who contributed club information, photos, and feedback during development. This site belongs to the Arizona amateur radio community, and we're excited to see it grow.
